While Warners and DC are still struggling to get anything concrete underway with regards to a Justice League flick (you may wish to tell me otherwise, but I'll believe it when I see it), the world of superhero movies continues to be dominated by Marvel. I have no issue with this, as I'm a Marvel guy through and through, but I'd still like to see some decent DC action onscreen in the name of keeping fans happy and keeping the genre alive long enough until the next Marvel film comes out (heh, couldn't help that).

Following
fantastic concept art samples from Marvel's Phase Two releases, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy, comes even more pre-production goodies from the next slate of Marvel movies.
Marvel's Phase One box set has finally been released, after months of legal wrangling, so finally information on the exclusive extras are emerging.
A preview of a Phase Two featurette is available below, mostly focusing on promoting Iron Man 3, along with what appears to be concept art for two big Phase Two releases: Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy.

So we have all heard of the Avengers right? What about the Justice League? You know, the DC version with Superman and Batman and the Green Lantern and co? Well, if you are aware of these two super groups of superheroes you're obviously a bit of a comic book fan but how about we throw in another superhero group called Justice League Dark? I thought I was reasonably educated on comic book characters but it appears not as we have some news about this super hero team-up currently being developed by self-confessed comic book geek Guillermo del Toro.
See below to what he had to say concerning the film, which is also going by the title “Heaven Sent” and “Dark Universe."

Kick-Ass 2's latest character posters continue to "get up in everyone's grill", as they say.

We have the new International Red Band trailer for Kick Ass 2. The clip follows Hit Girl and her struggle for a normal life, versus the life of a superhero, with a slice of profanity and violence chucked in for good measure.

The Wolverine began the week with two terrible posters, following that up with two days of teasing teasers for teasers (which we didn't bother to cover here because fuck that), we finally have the full length trailers for The Wolverine.

As a big fan of Law & Order: SVU, it's always exciting to see actors from it pop up elsewhere. So my excitement for Man of Steel has risen a notch since I noticed that Christopher Meloni (good, strong first name there) will be appearing as Colonel Hardy.
The latest image released by Warner Bros gives us a better look at an already released poster, showing off more clearly Big Blue in handcuffs as well as the aforementioned Meloni.

The Iron Man 3 marketing continues with a tenacity equal to its titular hero. The latest comes in the form of a new TV spot and two new images, sampling some of the many alternate suits called to action by Stark in the finale so big and badass, it put the fear in Joss Whedon.

Snikt! Plenty of Wolverine news for you to devour today. But hold back your excitement for a moment, as first we need to look at what I can only describe as excruciatingly bad marketing.
