The Expendables 2 - Last Supper - Top Slice

In the latest promotional clip for ensemble actioner The Expendables 2, Sylvester Stallone shouts at Jason Statham and then a motorbike gets driven into a helicopter.

So just more of the same really…

Bella and Renesmee promotional shot for Breaking Dawn Part 2

Apparently as well as shagging married men, Kristen Stewart has a film out this year. I’ve heard it’s quite big and that there’s a fan base for it. Maybe her and Rupert could go and see it together…

Anyway, true to Twilight marketing images, this one features Kristen Stewart’s Bella showing off one of her myriad facial expressions.

Donald Faison and Yancy Butler are set to star in Kick-Ass 2

As the highly anticipated sequel to superhero smash Kick-Ass prepares to shoot, this Autumn, several casting moves have been announced. Donald Faison is set to play a new hero known as Dr Gravity and Yancy Butler will reprise her role as the mother of Chris D’Amico/Red Mist.

Killing Them Softly

The third and final instalment of our regular look at fresh new trailers takes in Andrew Dominik's follow-up to the peerless Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, highly regarded documentary The Imposter and a bloody fistful of horror.

CvZ

Part two of this week's roundup of the crop of new and fresh trailers. Some tasty morsels: Ry Russo-Young's Nobody Walks, Hugh Laurie in The Oranges, Juno Temple as a lesbian werewolf, some musing on weddings and cockneys going postal on zombies. Tuck in.

Life of Pi - Trailer

This has to be one of my favourite weeks for new film trailers, with the promise of some brilliant looking movies to be released over the following year. With the exciting teaser for Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel and a spectacular first trailer for the upcoming adaptation of David Mitchell’s highly acclaimed novel Cloud Atlas, we also have a couple of trailers for some of this year’s Sundance’s favourites including Ry Russo-Young’s moving Nobody Walks and Leslye Headland’s very funny Bachelorette.

From Up On Poppy Hill - Top Slice

The first English subtitled trailer for the latest film by Studio Ghibli, Up On Poppy Hill, has now arrived after being released last year in Japan with a subsequent appearance at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.

Zero Dark Thirty Poster - Top Slice

If you thought the trailer for Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty was sparse, wait until you see the poster.

Looper International Poster Top Slice

Another new poster for Rian Johnson‘s upcoming sci-fi, Looper, has been released this week, showing the film’s lead stars with some big guns.

Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters - Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton

Five months away from its 2013 release, Paramount can’t decide in what direction to take Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. The studio has been using two different R-rated versions for recent test screenings with one so heavily edited that it was mistakenly believed to be a PG-13 cut.
