 Sight and Sounds Greatest Films - Coppola Allen Scorsese

This week saw the release of Sight and Sound's Greatest Films list, polled from the collective opinions of over 350 critics and film-makers respectively. The big shock came as the critic's choice saw 50 year champion Citizen Kane dethroned by Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo.

The Expendables 2 - Last Supper - Top Slice

It's always annoying when you show up to a restaurant and discover your table has been double-booked - so you are left to wait while the other party dillydallies over how to split the bill and whether people should pay extra if they had desserts.

So, you can imagine Jesus and his Apostles were pretty miffed when they showed up for their Last Supper to discover Sylvester Stallone and The Expendables were hogging the only long table in the joint.

After all the rumours circulating way back in June, it has finally been confirmed - The X-Men: First Class sequel will be officially titled "X-Men: Days of Future Past".

The always busy actor (thanks in no small way to the Ice Age franchise), John Leguizamo has now been added to the cast of Kick Ass 2, adding to a couple of other upcoming projects that may help to raise his still somewhat underappreciated profile.

 The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 - Trailer

Before Christopher Nolan re-appropriated the abbreviation with his latest Summer blockbuster, "TDKR" once referred to Frank Miller's 1986 comic book mini-series The Dark Knight Returns. The game-changing comic book, along with Alan Moore & Dave Gibbons' Watchmen, helped redefine the superhero genre.
