The first film was the epitome of throwaway popcorn fun, and so while it would be fair to say that this one approaches with the lowest of expecations, I'd also expect it to be reasonably diverting.
And Liam Neeson being bad-ass in a toga?
I'd buy a ticket for that alone.
Looks like it might have been filmed stereoscopically, too, which is no bad thing - the 3D on Clash was pretty fecking dreadful.
