Miss Lohan recently completed filming (seemingly without the usual hitches) Lifetime's TV biopic Liz & Dick where she portrayed the late Elizabeth Taylor.
It's currently unknown if she will star or cameo, the latter per tradition for the franchise with celebrities such as Carmen Electra, Pamela Anderson and Charlie Sheen popping up, but if she is included she will feature alongside High School Musical lead Ashley Tisdale.
Scary Movie 5 will be headed by Undercover Brother director Malcolm Lee and David Zucker (who wrote and directed the third and fourth installments).
It will begin shooting this summer and set for a spring release next year.
