I cannot say with any authority, having never met the real Lincoln, but I have to say Day-Lewis looks the part. He has a knack for complete physical transformations without even requiring prosthetic additions and you can be sure the performance itself will be so convincing that you will want to nominate Day-Lewis for POTUS when leaving the cinema.
Spielberg confirms as much in his interview with Entertainment Weekly (who premiered the photo today), saying Day-Lewis manages to convey the "intangible, pensive quality that made [Lincoln] a great leader."
