Expendables 2 will be directed by Simon West as Sylvester Stallone relinquishes camera control to better boss the on-screen action alongside support from Jason Statham and basically anyone who has ever been in an action film.
This clip itself is mental. Totally mental. The amount of insanity and action packed into under 50 seconds is quite unbelievable and anything that involves an exploding helicopter automatically has me excited.
It’s difficult not to admire the marketing campaign for Expendables 2. It has focused on literally just giving its audience what they want: lots of shit going BOOM. I know that I am pretty pumped about seeing this movie, if only for the spectacle of a massive airborne fireball lighting up the cinema and John McClane running around with Rambo and the Terminator.
Plus Chuck Norris. Chuck fucking Norris.
Expendables 2 will be released on August 16th.
