Nevertheless, we have a new poster and it is certainly a striking image. The tagline claims it tells "The Untold Story", which has been met with its share of snotty responses from commenters. I have to imagine these people are only aware of Spider-Man's back story from the Sam Raimi movies because there is the potential for far more revelations in Mark Webb's reboot.
I'm not saying that will happen, nor am I saying the "untold" aspects from the comics will even work, but I'm just not willing to dismiss the possibility that there is more to this reboot than a retread.
