The film follows an elite Black Ops soldier, Mallory Kane (Carano), who goes on the run and seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up by her superiors.
Whilst there’s nothing new about the film’s synopsis, Haywire also has a great supporting cast, including Michael Fassbender, Michael Douglas, Bill Paxton and Antonio Banderas, so let’s hope Soderbergh can do something different with this over-used story line.
